Member: Christian Brotherhood (Subscriber #27222)Note - I did get really sick and tried to get reimbursed. They disapproved it on a technicality and I had to pay everything myself. I lost thousands of dollars to this so called Christian Brotherhood. I do not recommend them!
This article isn't for everybody. Christian Brotherhood is only for those who are self employed and need some kind of "Insurance" for family health care costs. The organization is also for those who are Christian.
I don't mean to exclude anyone - I'm sure there are similar organizations for those who adhere to different religious philosophies. This program is specifically for Christians and since I'm Christian that's why I joined. Here is what the brotherhood entails.
"The Christian Brotherhood Newsletter ministry is a medical cost-sharing ministry based on Galatians 6:2: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
The thousands of Christian families who participate in this ministry are called “Subscribers.” Subscribers help themselves and fellow Christians through monthly financial gifts. These gifts are used to meet Subscribers’ medical expenses. In this way we share the burden, bring honor to God and present a testimony of Christ to others.
In the last 10 years, Subscribers have helped each other by sharing more than $400 million in medical costs.

P.S. Since we tend to take care of our own health issues, we haven't had a chance to "use" the program ourselves. However, we have been members for over a year.
